These codes are not secret switches. Claude reads them as ordinary text, so what they do depends on how it interprets the word. Plain English works more reliably, and this lab gives you both.
1. Pick a code from the list
Add a tool you found. It appears on the Browse tab with an "Added by you" tag, and it stays after you close the page.
| You are | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Not technical | Sejda, Pinetools, Refseek, cobalt.tools, Toy Theater | Open a website. No install. |
| A little technical | Recordly, Snapzy, OpenWhispr, OpenChatCut, Penpot, ArtCraft | Download an app and click through. |
| A developer | Claude Code setup, Superpowers, MarkItDown, CodeBurn, n8n-mcp | One command each; useful the same day. |

The code often is. AI features, hosting and video generation can cost money, so check the cost pill on each tag.
Websites and large open-source projects are generally fine. Read the README before installing any skill, and never share API keys.
Not for websites and desktop apps. Plugins and terminal tools need a developer or some help.
The creator of the original list tested each claim. Fact worked as promised, Hype did not, and Mid helped a little. The verdicts are theirs, not ours.
We could not confirm the exact page, so the link opens a search for the name. Check the first result before installing anything.
They involve forged documents, pirated software and books, paywall bypassing, unofficial copies of streaming sites, taking over other people's accounts, hiding AI use, or account-ban tricks. Each tag says why and points to a safer route.
MAKERS Hub for Creative Practice is a creative ecosystem built to develop people, ideas, skills, products and businesses within the creative industry. It brings education, practical experience, production, professional services, entrepreneurship, talent development and community into one connected environment, bridging the gap between learning a creative skill and building a career, valuable work or a business from it.
Tool lists land in our phones every week: screenshots, reels, posts in group chats. Each promises to save hours. Some are gold, some are hype, and a few are risky. The lists never say which is which.
They also leave out the useful parts: a link, whether it costs money, whether it suits your kind of work, and how to install it. So we turned the pile into one wall. Tools are sorted by the job you do, each one has a link, a cost label and install steps, and the Fact or Hype game shows which claims held up when someone tested them.
Anything we could not confirm is marked, and a few tools sit on a Skip list with the reason. Know a tool that belongs here? Use the Add a tool tab.

Link labels: "Link checked" means a search on 17 or 18 October 2026 found that page. "From the list" means the link came from the original tool lists or general knowledge. "Search link" opens a search because the page could not be confirmed. About 25 browser game ports in the original list (Call of Duty, GTA, Halo and similar) are left out: most are unofficial copies of commercial games and none were opened.
